We are looking for a Maintenance Executive to ensure the reliable operation of plant equipment through preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for minimizing equipment downtime, maintaining safety standards, and supporting effective plant operations.
Role & responsibilities
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair rotating and static equipment such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, reactors, heat exchangers, valves, and pipelines.
- Coordinate with the Production team to plan maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, equipment history, and daily reports.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts and coordinate with stores and procurement.
- Supervise contractors during maintenance activities and ensure quality of work.
- Follow EHS guidelines, permit-to-work procedures, and statutory safety requirements.
- Participate in plant shutdowns, equipment installation, and commissioning activities.
- Maintain good housekeeping and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
- 36 years of experience in maintenance within a chemical, specialty chemical, pharmaceutical, or process manufacturing plant.
