Skills Required

- Valid PAUT & TOFD Level II Certification as per SNT-TC-1A, PCN, or ISO 9712.
- Hands-on experience in performing Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) inspections.
- Proficiency in operating Olympus OmniScan X3 and X4 PAUT instruments.
- Experience using automatic scanning systems such as Weld Rover or equivalent.
- Ability to perform, interpret, and evaluate PAUT/TOFD inspection data in accordance with ASME Section VIII Div. 1 & Div. 2.
- Knowledge of weld inspection techniques, defect characterization, and acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity with inspection procedures, calibration, and equipment verification.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, weld maps, and fabrication drawings.




- Experience in preparing inspection reports and maintaining quality documentation.
- Understanding of quality standards, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and customer specifications.
- Knowledge of pressure vessel, heat exchanger, piping, or heavy fabrication inspection.
- Familiarity with EIL specifications and project requirements will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with QA/QC, Production, and Third-Party Inspection (TPI) agencies.
- Solid commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
