Deputy Manager MIS & Business Analytics

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Deputy Manager MIS & Business Analytics to drive management reporting, business intelligence, data analysis, process automation, and performance monitoring across business functions.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in MIS reporting, dashboard development, data visualization, automation, Excel, SQL, BI tools, and stakeholder management. Exposure to workflow automation platforms such as Zoho would be an added advantage.

This role requires transforming raw data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

MIS & Reporting

- Prepare and manage daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports for business leadership.
- Design and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports for various departments.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and actionable reporting to senior management.
- Monitor key business metrics, productivity indicators, service levels, and operational KPIs.

Data Analytics & Business Insights

- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and business insights.
- Develop analytical models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Present findings through executive summaries, reports, and presentations.
- Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and performance reviews.

Dashboard & Automation Development

- Develop automated reporting solutions to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
- Create interactive dashboards using Power BI, Excel, Zoho Analytics, or similar BI tools.




- Implement workflow automation and reporting enhancements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through technology-enabled solutions.

Data Management & Governance

- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, consistency, and standardization across reports.
- Establish reporting frameworks, templates, and governance controls.
- Coordinate with multiple business teams to streamline data collection processes.
- Maintain centralized databases and reporting repositories.

Business Partnering

- Work closely with business leaders to understand reporting requirements.
- Support strategic initiatives through data-backed recommendations.
- Participate in business reviews and management meetings.
- Assist leadership in budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring activities.

Process Improvement

- Identify gaps in existing reporting processes.
- Recommend and implement automation opportunities.
- Drive operational efficiency through process optimization and digitization initiatives.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- MBA / PGDM will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

- 5-8 years of experience in MIS, Business Analytics, Reporting, or Business Intelligence.
- Experience in Financial Services, FinTech, IT Services, Shared Services, Operations, or BFSI sectors preferred.
- Experience working directly with senior management and leadership teams.

The candidate should have hands-on expertise in reporting, dashboards, automation, and management presentations, with the ability to support leadership through data-driven decision-making while leveraging modern tools such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Zoho Analytics.
