Role: Senior AI Engineer (AI/LLM Platform)
Location: Bangalore

Role Context:
Engineers will work on production-grade AI systems, not experimental use cases.
The role involves building end-to-end AI applications integrating LLMs, backend systems, and data pipelines.

Core Skills (Mandatory)
AI & LLM Systems
- Hands-on experience with:
oOpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), AWS Bedrock
oRAG pipelines (retrieval, embeddings, orchestration)
oVector databases (Pinecone or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of:
oPrompt engineering & optimisation
oGuardrails, latency, cost optimisation

Agent Frameworks / Orchestration
- LangChain, LlamaIndex, LiteLLM
- Experience building:
oMulti-step agent workflows
oTool-integrated AI systems
- Exposure to MCP (Model Context Protocol), AgentCore (good to have)

Backend & System Engineering (Very Important)
- API development (FastAPI preferred)
- Microservices, REST/gRPC
- Solid Python-based backend development
- Experience with:
oAsync systems (RabbitMQ etc.)
oCaching (Redis)
oDBs (PostgreSQL / MySQL)

Cloud & DevOps
- AWS (preferred current project stack)
- Azure acceptable if AI skills are strong
- Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines

- Majority focus: AI + Python development

- Cloud exposure: secondary (~10%)

o23 years strong hands-on AI/LLM experience

- However, candidates should be aware of regulated environment constraints
Key Responsibilities :
Design & build LLM-powered applications (RAG, embeddings, orchestration)
Develop agentic workflows with tool integration
- Implement:
oPrompt optimisation & fine-tuning
oRetrieval pipelines with vector DB
- Build scalable backend services (FastAPI preferred)
- Collaborate with product teams to convert ambiguous problems production AI solutions
- Optimise systems for:
oPerformance
oCost
oReliability
