Job Summary
The Role
At the intersection of design and engineering, you will be responsible for bringing complex product visions to life. You aren't just building interfaces; you are crafting the user experience through high-fidelity, data-driven prototypes and production-ready components. You will work alongside UX Designers and Software Engineers to ensure that what we build is intuitive, accessible, and performant at scale.

Key Responsibilities
Prototyping:
• Build functional, high-fidelity prototypes (using React, Lit, or similar) to test interactions and gather user feedback.
Design-to-Code:
• Translate Figma/Sketch mocks into clean, modular, and responsive code.
System Ownership:
• Contribute to and maintain our Design System and component libraries (Material Design).
User Advocacy:
• Partner with UX Researchers to iterate on designs based on usability studies and data.




Accessibility:
• Implement industry-leading accessibility standards (WCAG) across all user-facing features.

Technical Requirements
Coding:
• Expert-level proficiency in HTML, CSS/Sass, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Frameworks:
• Deep experience with modern JS frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
Design Tools:
• Mastery of Figma and an understanding of UX design workflows.
Version Control:
• Comfortable with Git and collaborative code reviews.

Education
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred "Googleyness" Traits
• A "User-First" mindset in every technical decision.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and iterate quickly in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical constraints to designers and design logic to engineers.
