Job Summary
The Infrastructure Architect plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and governing infrastructure solutions that are scalable, secure, and highly available to support enterprise platforms. A major focus of this role is on automation, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), observability, and effective deployment of Teamcenter BMIDE. The Infrastructure Architect collaborates closely with application teams, DevOps engineers, database administrators, and security professionals to ensure that platform operations are reliable and efficient across all environments.

Automation & Configuration Management (Ansible)
• Architecting and Implementing Ansible-based Automation:
• Provisioning and configuring the servers.
• Deploying applications and middleware components.
• Developing Reusable Ansible Artifacts: The role entails creating reusable Ansible roles, playbooks, and inventories, while ensuring adherence to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards.
• Integrating Ansible with CI/CD Pipelines: Ansible execution is integrated through Jenkins pipelines and automation nodes, streamlining deployment and operational processes.

CI/CD & Orchestration (Jenkins)
• Designing and Governing Jenkins CI/CD Pipelines:
• Overseeing pipelines for application builds and deployments.




• Managing BMIDE packaging and deployments across multiple environments.
• Automating infrastructure and configuration processes.
• Establishing Pipeline Standards: Responsible for defining standards around pipeline management, credentials handling, and artifact versioning.
• Troubleshooting and Optimisation: The role includes troubleshooting pipeline failures and continuously optimising execution time and reliability.

Technical Skills
• Ansible: Advanced proficiency in playbooks, roles, inventory management, and experience with Ansible Tower or AWX is preferred.
• Jenkins: Deep understanding of Pipeline-as-Code (Declarative and Scripted), shared libraries, and credentials management and managing integrations via webhook and other medium.
• SonarCube: Deep understanding in installation and configuring of SonarCube quality gates and profiles and managing various integration in Dev-ops environment.
• Datadog: Skills in infrastructure monitoring, Application Performance Monitoring (APM), logs, dashboard configuration, and alerting.
• Operating Systems: Expertise in Windows Server as well as Linux distributions such as RHEL and SUSE.
• Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, and YAML.
• CI/CD & DevOps Principles: Solid grounding in the principles of various Dev-ops integration, continuous delivery, and knowledge of DevOps best practices.
• SQL DB Performance: Positive to have SQL performance tuning knowledge.
