1. Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven HR Manager to oversee the human resources function for our dealership. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic partner to department heads (Sales, Service and Finance), focusing on building a high-performance culture, and maintaining OEM-standard training compliance.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition: Manage full-cycle recruitment for diverse roles, including Sales Consultants, Service Technicians and Back-office staff.
- Performance & KRAs: Collaborate with department heads to define and track Key Result Areas (KRAs) and performance metrics
- Compensation Management: Oversee the administration of complex variable pay structures, including sales commissions and performance bonuses.
- OEM & Technical Training: Coordinate with the Manufacturer (OEM) to ensure all technical and soft-skill certifications for staff are up-to-date.
- Employee Relations: Act as a mediator for workplace disputes and drive engagement initiatives to reduce attrition in high-pressure departments.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to labour laws, including PF, ESIC, and workplace safety standards.
- Culture & Team Building:Design and execute high-impact engagement programs, such as dealership-wide milestone challenges, departmental "Lunch-and-Learn" sessions and team outings.
3. Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business; an MBA/PGDM in HR is highly preferred.
- Experience: 5–12 years of HR experience, with a mandatory requirement for prior experience in an automobile dealership or retail setting.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of dealership operations (Sales vs. After-sales) and automotive workforce dynamics.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with HRMS/HRIS tools and dealership management systems (DMS).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution, and the ability to communicate with both blue-collar and corporate staff.
4. Target Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Time-to-Fill: Average [X] days for critical sales and technician roles.
- Retention Rate: Maintain a staff retention rate of [X]% or higher, specifically in the sales department.
- Training Compliance: 100% completion of OEM-mandated training cycles.
