We are seeking a skilled and experienced CAD Engineer with UG NX background to join our automotive engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Body-in-White design, Sheetmetal knowledge with hands-on experience in CAD tools, design validation, and product development processes along with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills to collaborate effectively across teams and drive innovation.

Role and Responsibilities
Design and develop sheet metal & Plastic components such as brackets, mounting structures, reinforcements, chassis support components, battery and powertrain mounting systems, BIW and structural parts.
Create 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings in Siemens NX.
Wiring Harness Kabel viewer , 3D routing & schematics
Perform design modifications based on engineering changes and project requirements.
Ensure adherence to company CAD standards and release processes.
Develop parametric and associative 3D models in Siemens NX.




Create and maintain assembly structures, part families, design-in-context models, and multi-model links.
Generate production drawings with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;).
Manage CAD data, BOM structures, and revisions in Teamcenter / PLM systems.
Coordinate with manufacturing, CAE, quality, testing, and supplier teams.
Conduct design reviews and technical discussions.
Support supplier development and issue resolution activities.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
BE / BTech Mechanical Engineer or relevant discipline
Preferred Skills

- Strong understanding of BIW sheet metal, plastics parts, harness design.
- Knowledge of BIW panel manufacturing and assembly sequences.
- Knowledge of Plastics design and manufacturing process
- Experience in GD&T; application.
- Project management
