Roles & Responsibilities
• Read and interpret structural, architectural, and fabrication drawings.
• Prepare accurate project cost estimates based on drawings and specifications.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and material take-offs.
• Estimate steel, roofing, and other project material requirements.
• Optimize material consumption and project costs.
• Coordinate with the design, procurement, and project execution teams.
• Maintain estimation records,
BOQs, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and company procedures.
• Total weight calculation based on site measurement.
Required Skills
• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication and estimation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• BOQ preparation and material estimation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Valuable analytical and communication skills.
Educational Qualification Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience 2–4 years of relevant experience in structural steel fabrication, industrial projects, or estimation.
