Job Description:

Product Industrialization

- Support the on-site industrialization of new products from prototype and trial production through release to serial production
- Support active off-take production during product industrialization and production ramp-up
- Act as a technical liaison between Company and off-take supplier
- Collaborate with R&D;, Manufacturing, Quality and the offtake supplier during new product industrialization activities
- Evaluate production and validation results against the original design intent and propose improvement actions where required
- Coordinate implementation of engineering changes and product modifications during industrialization
- Support production readiness activities and ensure all product-related requirements are fulfilled prior to serial production
- Escalate product-related risks that may impact project timing, product quality or production readiness
- Support R&D; with product RM optimization

Requirements:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in the tire industry, preferably in Product Development, Product Industrialization, Manufacturing
- Experience supporting Recent Product Introduction (NPI), product validation and production launch activities
- Experience working with off-take manufacturing suppliers is considered an advantage
- Good understanding of product specifications, manufacturing processes and quality requirements
- Ability to quickly identify and implement technically compliant solutions to reduce product defects with respect to the product specification
- Ability to coordinate technical activities across Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality and supplier organizations
- Fluency in English
