Finance Controller
Location: Ekkatuthangal Chennai

Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant – Mandatory

Role Overview:
The Finance Controller will lead the Finance and Accounts function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust financial controls, statutory compliance, effective cash-flow management and timely financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end Finance and Accounts operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and period-end closing.
Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, budgets, forecasts and cash-flow projections.
Manage working capital, banking relationships, fund utilisation, reconciliations and payment processes.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, accounting standards and internal financial controls.
Coordinate internal and statutory audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.




Drive budgeting, variance analysis, cost optimisation and financial planning.
Provide financial analysis and business insights to support strategic decision-making.
Strengthen finance processes through automation, ERP controls and continuous improvement.
Lead, mentor and develop the Finance and Accounts team.

Candidate Profile:
Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 10 years of relevant Finance and Accounts experience.
Strong experience in financial controlling, reporting, budgeting, taxation, audits and cash-flow management.
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Solid analytical, leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience in EPC, infrastructure, manufacturing or renewable energy sectors will be preferred.
