Summary
As a Senior Data Modeling Architect, you will design and implement enterprise data models that support transactional, operational, analytical, and cloud-based systems. The role requires extensive expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, data architecture, data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and metadata management.
The architect will design scalable and high-performance data models that enable business intelligence, analytics, master data management, and enterprise integration initiatives. Robust knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data governance, modern data modeling methodologies, and cloud data platforms is required to support enterprise data modernization programs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise applications and data platforms.
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient data models.
3. Define enterprise data architecture standards, modeling guidelines, and best practices.
4. Develop dimensional data models including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Vault for data warehouses and analytics platforms.
5. Create and maintain enterprise data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and business glossaries.
6. Perform data normalization and denormalization based on business requirements and performance considerations.
7. Design relational, dimensional, and NoSQL data models for cloud and on-premises environments.
8. Support data integration, ETL/ELT, Master Data Management (MDM), and data migration initiatives.
9. Ensure data quality, integrity, consistency, governance, and compliance across enterprise systems.
10. Optimize database structures and data models for scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.
11. Collaborate with database administrators, data engineers, BI developers,



and solution architects.
12. Perform impact analysis, data model reviews, and enterprise data architecture assessments.
13. Maintain version control, documentation, and governance of enterprise data models.
14. Provide technical leadership and mentor teams on enterprise data modeling standards and methodologies.
15. Support Agile delivery practices and enterprise data modernization initiatives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
1. 10–12+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Modeling and Data Architecture.
2. Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling techniques.
3. Strong knowledge of Entity Relationship (ER) modeling and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs).
4. Extensive experience with dimensional modeling including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
5. Strong understanding of Data Vault 2.0 modeling methodologies.
6. Experience with normalization techniques (1NF, 2NF, 3NF, BCNF) and denormalization strategies.
7. Expertise in relational data modeling and NoSQL data modeling approaches.
8. Experience with Master Data Management (MDM), Reference Data Management, and Metadata Management.
9. Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Lakehouse, and Data Mesh concepts.
10. Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin Data Modeler, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler, or similar platforms.
11. Strong SQL skills with databases including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DB2, Snowflake, Redshift, or Azure SQL.
12. Experience designing data models for cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
13. Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and enterprise information management.
14. Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Lineage, Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Catalog concepts.
15. Experience working with Agile, DevOps,



and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
16. Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

1. The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
2. This position is based at the Indore office.
3. A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
