Job Description: An Accountant for a coal washery manages day-to-day financial operations, inventory accounting for raw/processed coal and rejects, and statutory compliance (GST/TDS). Key roles include maintaining site accounts, preparing MIS reports, handling inventory valuation, and managing reconciliations for coal processing activities. Core Responsibilities

- Inventory & Costing: Manage accounting for raw coal, processed coal (washed coal), rejects, and consumables. Perform cost analysis per ton.
- Financial Operations: Maintain daily accounting records, handle accounts payable/receivable, and manage site bank transactions.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other tax regulations; file returns and coordinate audits.
- Reporting & MIS: Prepare monthly MIS reports, daily production reports (DPR),



and bank stock statements for management.
- Logistics Support: Generate e-way bills, verify freight invoices, and reconcile transporter accounts. Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: B.Com/M.Com or Semi-Qualified CA/ICWA.
- Experience: Proven experience in manufacturing, mining, or coal washery units.
- Software Proficiency: Robust knowledge of SAP HANA, SAP ECC, Tally ERP, and MS Excel.
- Skills: Detailed understanding of inventory management, taxation (GST), and cost accounting.
