Job Description: An supports the financial operations of the business, focusing on cost management, inventory control, and statutory compliance tailored to chemical or production environments. Key Responsibilities

- Inventory & Batch Control: Maintain accurate records of inventory, including raw materials, chemicals, packaging, and finished products, often using batch-wise tracking.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage vendor payments for raw materials and assist with invoicing and customer collections, ensuring timely recovery.
- Costing and Reporting: Assist in calculating the cost of production, including raw material usage, labor, and overheads, and assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
- Statutory Compliance: Handle statutory requirements, such as VAT, CST, or GST returns, on a timely basis.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and verify supplier or customer account balances.
- Data Entry: Enter daily production and financial transactions accurately into accounting software.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience:



Previous experience (2-5 years) in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or chemical industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP (or similar accounting software) and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and inventory management, as noted on Indeed.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to handle complex data and perform cost analysis.

- Location: Mostly office-based, but may require regular coordination with the factory shop floor for inventory verification.
- Environment: Quick-paced, manufacturing-focused environment requiring high accuracy.
