Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Metallurgist for our foundry specializing in non-ferrous castings, particularly Gunmetal and Nickel Aluminium Bronze. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring correct metallurgical processes, quality control, and smooth casting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspection and verification of raw materials as per metallurgical standards
- Preparation and checking of moulds before casting
- Supervision of melting operations, including: Proper charging of furnace
- Melting at correct temperatures
- Checking molten metal quality before pouring
- Inspection and approval of patterns prior to production




- Ensuring adherence to casting quality standards and process parameters
- Troubleshooting casting defects related to metallurgy and process

Required Skills & Experience:

- Proven experience in non-ferrous foundry operations
- Strong knowledge of Gunmetal and Nickel Aluminium Bronze castings
- Hands-on understanding of melting, moulding, and pouring processes
- Ability to identify and prevent metallurgical defects

Preferred Background:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Metallurgy or Materials Engineering or any Graduate
- Experience in industrial or production foundry setting
