Job Description:

A Cafe Waiter provides friendly, efficient service by greeting guests, taking accurate food/drink orders, and delivering orders promptly. Key duties include maintaining a clean, inviting dining area, processing payments, and offering menu recommendations. This role requires robust communication, stamina, and a customer-focused attitude to ensure high-quality service. Job Responsibilities

- Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, seat them, present menus, and explain daily specials.
- Order Taking & Serving: Accurately take food/beverage orders, communicate them to the kitchen, and serve items in a timely manner.
- Table Maintenance: Clear, clean, and sanitize tables and seating areas continuously.
- POS Management: Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently.
- Cafe Maintenance: Stock service stations, roll silverware, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.





Requirements and Skills

- Experience: Previous experience as a waiter, server, or in a fast-paced customer service role.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with guests and staff.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for long periods and carry trays.
- Technical Skills: Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.
- Attitude: Polite, friendly, patient, and able to work under pressure.

Common Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
