Job description
Role Optometrist
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
Diagnose refractive errors
Prescribe spectacles and contact lenses
Conduct diagnostic tests (Auto Refraction, Keratometry, Tonometry, etc.)
Assist ophthalmologists in clinical procedures when required
Provide pre- and post-operative counseling for patients
Maintain accurate patient records and reports
Guide patients on eye care, lens usage, and hygiene
Required Skills
Solid clinical and diagnostic skills
Positive communication and patient handling ability
Knowledge of optical instruments and procedures
Attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer knowledge
Eligibility Criteria
~ D. Optom / B. Sc Optometry / M. Optom
~1–6 years of relevant experience
~ Freshers with solid internship experience may also apply
