Job Description
Infrastructure Design and Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to define infrastructure requirements and design solutions that align with business goals
Develop and maintain technical architecture documentation, including network diagrams, system configurations, and hardware specifications
Infrastructure Deployment and Management: Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networking devices, storage systems, and related hardware and software components
Implement and manage virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V) to optimize resource utilization and scalability
Oversee the administration of cloud services and platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) as needed
Network Management: Design, configure, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement security measures to safeguard data and systems
Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems,



and encryption to protect the organization's data and assets
Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g. ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA)
Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and system availability in the event of a hardware or software failure
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced technical support to resolve complex infrastructure-related issues and incidents
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks
Team Leadership and Mentoring: Lead and mentor junior infrastructure engineers, providing guidance and sharing best practices
Participate in recruitment efforts to expand the IT infrastructure team
Project Management: Manage infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved
Collaborate with project stakeholders to define scope, deliverables, and resource requirements
