Role Description The Student Counselor role at FormsADDA is a full-time, in office position based in Ranchi. The counselor will guide students on academic pathways, courses, entrance exams, and college options, ensuring advice is aligned with each student's interests and aspirations. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions (in person and over phone), answering academic and exam-related queries, and helping students understand admission processes and timelines. The role also involves maintaining accurate student records, following up to track progress,



and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely updates on exams, forms, and college information. The counselor is expected to provide empathetic, explicit, and unbiased guidance while supporting students through decision-making and registration procedures.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to guide learners on academic and career choices.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to explain complex information clearly and build trust with students and families.
Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to handle queries professionally and ensure a positive counseling experience.
Candidates should possess a good understanding of Education systems, entrance exams, and admission procedures in India.
Additional beneficial qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, or a related field; prior experience in academic or career counseling; proficiency with basic computer and CRM tools; solid organizational and time-management abilities; and the capacity to work with diverse student backgrounds in a non-judgmental, inclusive manner.
