Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This role requires guiding and supporting teams throughout the design and delivery phases, ensuring that development standards are maintained. The position focuses on aligning software performance and scalability with the broader business goals, while fostering collaboration and innovation within the team to achieve successful project outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Refactor Gateway APIs to use-case-specific contracts, migrate routing to AWS API GW,



build Databricks integration endpoints
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead the establishment and enforcement of development best practices and coding standards.
Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software components.

Qualified & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Scala.
Valuable To Have Skills: API Management, AWS Administration, PostgreSQL.
Robust knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns.
Experience in performance tuning and scalability optimization of software applications.
Ability to conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Familiarity with cloud-based environments and deployment strategies.

Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Scala.
This position is based at our Pune office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
