Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance and user feedback to maintain service reliability and support business continuity effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.




Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance system stability and performance.
Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when needed.

Qualified & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
Robust hands-on experience with Ansible automation and coding
Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines, primarily using GitHub Actions
Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting
Solid exposure to Linux environments
Experience using GitHub for source control and automation workflows
Working knowledge of Azure and/or GCP architecture
ServiceNow API integration experience is an added advantage
Experience automating across large enterprise infrastructure estates including Storage, Network, Windows, Linux, and other platform services
Exposure to AI assisted automation or AIOps concepts (e.g., automation insights, recommendations, controlled remediation) is a plus

Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
