Roles & Responsibility
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop nursing care plans.
Monitor and document patients' clinical condition and report changes promptly.
Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and prescribed treatments safely.
Prepare patients for diagnostic and surgical procedures.
Collect and label specimens accurately and communicate critical laboratory values.
Assist during physician rounds and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
Manage admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Maintain infection prevention practices and ICU quality indicators.
Ensure functionality and preventive maintenance of clinical equipment.
Maintain inventory, documentation, and patient safety standards.
Report incidents and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Specialized CTVS & Transplant Responsibilities
Assess critically ill cardiac and transplant patients.
Manage ventilators, monitors, and other life-support equipment.
Perform emergency nursing interventions and CPR.
Monitor post-transplant patients for organ rejection,



hepatic/portal vein thrombosis, bleeding, and other complications.
Administer immunosuppressive medications and monitor therapeutic levels.
Practice strict reverse barrier nursing and infection control.
Coordinate pre-transplant evaluations and post-transplant follow-up.
Develop individualized discharge plans with the multidisciplinary team.
Maintain transplant documentation and patient records.
Educate patients and families regarding transplantation, medications, follow-up care, and lifestyle modifications.
