Role & responsibilities
Develop and execute the annual risk-based internal audit plan.
Conduct financial, operational, process, and compliance audits across manufacturing units.
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
Identify business risks and suggest practical risk mitigation measures.
Review Internal Financial Controls (IFC) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Assess business processes to improve operational efficiency and optimize costs.
Identify potential fraud risks and recommend preventive controls.
Coordinate with plant teams, process owners, and external auditors during audit assignments.
Prepare audit reports, present findings to management, and track corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and statutory requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives through process reviews and best practices.
Leverage SAP and data analytics to enhance audit effectiveness and reporting
Preferred candidate profile
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
810 years of experience in Internal Audit, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Prior experience with a reputed consulting/audit firm (Big 4, Grant Thornton, BDO, Protiviti, or equivalent) will be preferred.
Solid knowledge of Internal Financial Controls (IFC), risk management, and internal controls.
Hands-on experience with SAP and data analytics tools.
Positive understanding of manufacturing processes, operational audits, and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
Solid communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple audit assignments, and travel to manufacturing plants, if required.
