Roles & Responsibilities (Safety Control Room Engineer)
Monitor all HSE activities from the Safety Control Room to ensure compliance with project safety procedures, client requirements, and statutory regulations.
Continuously monitor CCTV systems, fire alarm panels, gas detection systems, emergency shutdown (ESD) systems, and other critical safety monitoring systems.
Coordinate and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) activities, ensuring high-risk jobs are authorized and executed in accordance with approved safety procedures.
Act as the central communication point during emergencies, coordinating with emergency response teams, site management, medical services, fire teams, and security personnel.
Monitor critical site activities, including confined space entry, work at height, hot work, lifting operations, excavation, and electrical isolation (LOTO), ensuring compliance with approved permits.
Receive, record, and communicate safety incidents, near misses, alarms,



and emergency notifications, ensuring prompt escalation to the concerned stakeholders.
Maintain accurate logs of safety events, emergency responses, alarm history, PTW status, incident reports, and shift handover records.
Coordinate emergency drills, evacuation exercises, and incident response activities while ensuring effective communication between field teams and management.
Prepare daily safety reports, shift reports, incident summaries, and KPI dashboards for management review.
Ensure continuous operational readiness of control room equipment and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance.

Education
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation, or Safety Engineering
