Role & responsibilities
Conduct title due diligence and legal scrutiny of land and property documents.
Draft, review, and vet Agreements to Sell, Sale Deeds, Joint Development Agreements (JDA), MOUs, Lease Deeds, Power of Attorney (POA), and other legal documents.
Ensure compliance with RERA, the Registration Act, Stamp Act, Transfer of Property Act, and other applicable real estate laws.
Possess robust knowledge of RERA registration, project compliance, disclosures, documentation, customer agreements, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with government authorities, Sub-Registrar Offices, RERA authorities, advocates, and legal consultants.
Handle property registrations, documentation, and statutory approvals.
Manage litigation matters and coordinate with external legal counsel.
Provide legal opinions and risk assessments for land acquisitions, joint developments,
and real estate transactions.
Support project, sales, CRM, and management teams on legal matters related to land, approvals, customer documentation, and dispute resolution.
Maintain legal records, agreements, title documents, and statutory compliance registers.
Advise management on legal, contractual, and regulatory matters to mitigate business risks.
Preferred candidate profile
LL.B. or LL.M.
8 15 years of experience in the real estate industry.
Robust knowledge of RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority), property laws, land acquisition, title verification, registration procedures, and real estate documentation.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
