Job Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer
Department: Mechanical Maintenance
Reporting To: Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

The Sr. Mechanical Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing mechanical maintenance activities to ensure reliable, protected, and productive operation of plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
Maintain and troubleshoot Pumps, Compressors, Gearboxes, Heat Exchangers, Reactors, Agitators, Conveyors, Rotary Equipment, and Utility Systems.
Lead maintenance teams and coordinate with production for planned shutdowns.
Ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and improve plant performance.
Monitor spare parts inventory and maintenance records.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory requirements.
Support installation, commissioning,



and modification of mechanical equipment.

Qualification & Experience
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
510 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a chemical, manufacturing, or process industry.

Skills
Strong knowledge of rotating and static equipment.
Ability to read engineering drawings and P&IDs.;
Valuable troubleshooting, planning, and team management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS/SAP is preferred.
