We are looking for a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Specialist with 4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in mechanical engineering and experience in strategic sourcing, zero-based costing, and commodities like sheet metal or similar materials.

Roles and Responsibility
Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to achieve business objectives.
Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
Manage and maintain relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE/BTech) or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
Solid knowledge of strategic sourcing principles and practices.
Experience with zero-based costing methods and analysis.
Familiarity with die casting processes and exposure to sheet metal or similar materials.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
