We are looking for an experienced import executive to manage end-to-end pharmaceutical chemical import operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in import documentation, customs compliance, shipment coordination, and international logistics within the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end import operations for pharmaceutical products.
Prepare and verify import documents, including Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Analysis (CoA), Certificate of Origin (COO), Bill of Lading (BL), Airway Bill (AWB), and Letter of Credit (LC).
Ensure compliance with DGFT regulations, customs requirements, and international trade norms.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, Customs House Agents (CHAs), shipping lines, and logistics partners for timely clearance and delivery.
Communicate with international suppliers/customers regarding order processing, shipment schedules, and documentation.
Monitor shipment status, resolve operational issues, and ensure timely delivery.
Maintain import records and generate MIS reports for management.
Work closely with internal departments such as Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
35 years of experience in pharmaceutical import operations.
Solid understanding of import documentation, Incoterms, customs clearance procedures, and DGFT regulations.
Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, CHA, and international logistics partners.
Valuable communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or equivalent).
