Store Keeper Roles & Responsibilities

The Store Keeper will manage all inward and outward material movement with complete accuracy and discipline. Responsibilities include receiving raw materials, components, and consumables; verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders; and coordinating with QC for inspections. The role requires maintaining updated stock records in ERP/Excel, conducting periodic stock audits, and ensuring proper labeling, storage, and FIFO/FEFO practices. The Store Keeper will issue materials to production with proper documentation, prepare dispatch challans, packing lists, and coordinate with logistics for timely dispatches. Additional duties include maintaining GRN, stock registers, inward/outward records, supporting accounts with invoice matching, and ensuring housekeeping, safety,



and compliance within the store area.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing store operations with robust knowledge of inventory control, GRN, challans, and ERP/Excel. Educational qualification should be HSC/ITI/Diploma; graduates are preferred. The candidate must be disciplined, honest, detailoriented, and capable of maintaining accurate records. Valuable communication, coordination skills, and the ability to work closely with production, purchase, and accounts teams are essential. Candidates with experience in Nashik MIDC or similar industrial settings will be preferred.
