RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10 years+ of relevant experience in quality assurance and vendor quality management / vendor development role
The role is to cater to the vendor quality management for the domestic Natural Rubber supplies to manufacturing plants (Sheet Rubber grades, ISNR grade, Dirt Free Rubber grades) Vendor audit, Vendor rating assessment, Vendor development and improvement activities for domestic Natural Rubber in India.
Job role-
To plan and conduct vendor audits (in collaboration with technical team) for domestic Natural Rubber vendors and dealers, including Dirt Free centers and godowns. To ensure review of audit observations and closures as per standard timelines.
To conduct vendor rating assessments and communicate / drive improvement for domestic Natural Rubber vendors. To timely obtain VPIP (Vendor Performance Improvement Plan) from NR vendors, as applicable.
Timely Redressal of Quality Issues / complaints from plants with the Natural Rubber Suppliers. To seek corrective actions from NR vendors and co-ordinate with R&D; and plant for submission and acceptance. To drive action plan with NR vendors for timely and effective implementation.
To drive Sustainability Initiatives in the NR Supply Chain
a. Procurement from local suppliers to support local and vulnerable groups
b. Skill building activities To conduct training and awareness programs at the domestic Natural Rubber vendors and Dirt-Free centers to continuously train and improvement the skill of the vendor teams
MIS reports and communication to drive improvement activities in the Natural Rubber Supply Chain
