Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to define, lead, and evolve the architecture of our Online Remote Update Technology platform. The role focuses on designing scalable, secure, observable, and maintainable backend systems, ensuring architectural consistency across teams, and driving long-term technical strategy .

Key Responsibilities

Define and maintain the end-to-end system architecture and service boundaries. Lead architecture decisions, create ADRs, and ensure adoption of best practices.

Design API contracts, event schemas, and ensure backward compatibility.
Create and maintain C4 Architecture Models.
Ensure performance, resilience, scalability, security, and observability.
Drive security architecture including OAuth2/OIDC and secret management.
Support CI/CD pipeline strategy and deployment models.
Lead architecture spikes and technical evaluations.
Guide developers via design reviews and technical mentorship.
Collaborate with product owners to shape architectural roadmaps.
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.

Technical Expertise





Should also be an developer initially with hands on & Thrived as an architect

Microservices architecture, distributed systems, domain decomposition.

Java / J2EE, Spring Boot, REST, async/event-driven design.

Apache Kafka, HiveMQ/MQTT.

Microsoft Azure cloud services.

SQL schema design , JPA/Hibernate, Spring Data, jOOQ (optional).

Docker , CI/CD pipelines, automated testing.

OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana for observability.

OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, secure design, compliance-driven mindset.

Competencies & Soft Skills

Ability to design and evaluate complex distributed architectures.

Robust documentation skills (ADRs, architecture guidelines, API specs).

Understanding of software lifecycle and governance.

Excellent communication; ability to simplify complex topics.

High ownership, proactive attitude, robust collaboration.

Ability to mentor engineers and influence without authority.

Excellent English communication.
