Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
Design product concepts and prepare engineering drawings or CAD models.
Select appropriate raw materials and manufacturing processes.
Coordinate prototype development and testing.
Plan and conduct product validation and performance testing.
Work with production to establish manufacturing methods and work instructions.
Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), process flow charts, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with purchasing to source recent materials and components.
Conduct cost analysis and identify prospects for cost reduction.
Resolve technical issues during prototype and production stages.
Implement design changes based on customer feedback or manufacturing requirements.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical discussions.
Lead product launch activities and ensure a smooth transition to mass production.
Drive continuous improvement of existing products and manufacturing processes
