This role is responsible for managing plant logistics, FG, RM, PM inventory & dispatches by managing warehouses and transporters. This position will be based in Kundaim, Goa & will be reporting to Logistics Manager & a dotted line reporting to the plant manager.
Subject Matter Skill Sets: -
1 Co-Ordination & dispatch planning of FG, RM & PM for all shifts.
2 Co-ordination and follow-up with transporter for vehicle placement factory, Verna CWH & escalating whenever necessary.
3 Preparing dispatch summary sheet for loading and ensuring the same is getting loaded.
4 Invoicing of (TPW & PCLP Plant) daily dispatches, FG, RM, SCRAP & SPARES etc.
5 FG stock verification in stores/warehouses on daily basis and inventory control.
6 continuous endeavor to remove FG from stores/warehouses to avoid space constraints and ensure continuous production runs.
7 Co-ordination with branches for unloading of vehicles.
8 Verifying & filing documents and maintaining records.
9 Supervision towards scanning, loading and resolving issues towards the same.
10 Quarterly physical and system stock verification during physical stock verifications.
11 Co-ordination with production team for priority requirements, FG declaration etc.
12 Training loading team with respect to scanning and vehicle loading.
13 Inspecting proper loading of vehicles with respect to weight and volume.
14 Inspecting vehicles before loading for safety of goods. Special precautions to be taken during rainy seasons.
15 Coordination with CWH team for regular & priority dispatches.
16 Coordination with CWH & Branch team for GIT clearness.
17 Coordination with Igarashi plant for alternate dispatches.
18 Preparation of MIS daily, Weekly, Monthly reports.
20 Inspecting vehicles documents to avoid legal issues as per Motor Act (i.e. RC, PUC Certificate, Driver License, Permit checked by Security)
Soft Skills:
Detailed understanding of logistics & freight
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Inventory & Vendor Management.
High proficiency with MS excels Advanced excel must, VBA or knowledge of any other data analytics tool preferred.
