Job description for Floor Supervisor

A floor supervisor is responsible formaintaining a safe and secure environment in bars, nightclubs, or other similarestablishments. They are tasked with checking the identification of patrons andensuring that no prohibited items or people enter the premises.

Key Responsibilities:

Screen patrons for prohibited items such as weapons, drugs, andother contraband.

Maintain a visible and vigilant presence in the establishment todeter any potential disturbances or criminal activity.

Monitor the behaviour of patrons and intervene when necessary toprevent fights or other disturbances.

Communicate with other security personnel and management tocoordinate responses to potential security threats.

Escort unruly patrons out of the establishment as necessary.

Provide assistance to patrons as needed

Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated areaspromptly and according to policy

Complete incident reports as necessary and maintain accuraterecords of any security-related incidents.

Qualifications:

Min HSSC pass, diploma or equivalent required; additional trainingor certification in Security may bepreferred.





Min Experience of 1 year

Previous security-related work experience preferred

Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively handledifficult or dangerous situations.

Ability to stay level headed and respond quickly in stressfulsituations

Proficient written and oral communication skills

Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing forextended periods of time

Working knowledge of basic security techniques

Excellent surveillance and observation skills
