The Specialist/Senior Specialist - OSP is responsible for producing comprehensive Outside Plant (OSP) CAD work plans and associated documentation in support of fiber network design and construction.
This role involves developing planning and design documents for both aerial and buried FTTx network architecture, focusing on end-to-end fiber connectivity to various living units such as SFUs, MDUs, and MTUs.
The drafter leads the design, drafting, scoping, permitting, and work print creation for AT&T; projects including Switched Ethernet (ASE) and Light Gig (LG) networks, ensuring route feasibility and address validation. The drafter interprets field survey notes, generates design documentation, and utilizes Excel macros for fiber assignment tasks.
The role requires solid attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to meet project timelines while supporting post-design customer reviews and contributing to ongoing process improvements.
