Responsibilities
Team leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of maintenance mechanics and technicians.
Maintenance programs: Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all plant equipment.
Troubleshooting and repair: Lead the team in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to resolve breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
Continuous improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency, enhance equipment reliability, and reduce costs.
Budget management: Track expenses, monitor line efficiencies, and manage the maintenance department budget.
Inventory control: Monitor and control the inventory of spare parts and other maintenance materials.




Vendor management: Coordinate with and manage external contractors and service providers for specialized repair work or materials.
Safety and compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
Record-keeping: Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment history records.
Capital projects: Participate in the planning and execution of capital expenditure projects for new or upgraded equipment.

This role involves developing preventative maintenance programs, managing budgets, and implementing continuous improvement strategies while ensuring a secure and compliant working workplace.
