Job Description: SDET Python (API Integration)

Experience Requirements
5+ years of enterprise-level experience in test automation and quality

engineering.
Solid hands-on experience in building automation frameworks using Python.
Proven experience working as an SDET with focus on API integration and backend

validation.

Technical Skills
Solid programming expertise in:
Python (primary)
Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks:
Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, TestCafe (UI and end-to-end automation)
Experience with legacy tools like CodedUI is a plus
Strong expertise in:
API testing and automation (REST/GraphQL services)
API integration testing, including validation across distributed systems
Tools/libraries such as PyTest, Requests, HTTPX, Postman/Newman
Solid experience in:




Database testing and writing advanced SQL queries
Data validation, backend verification, and test data management
Experience with BDD frameworks:
SpecFlow / Cucumber / Behave (Python)
Strong understanding of:
Software architecture and microservices-based systems
Designing and recommending robust testing strategies and frameworks

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in:
CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI)
Containerized settings (Docker, Kubernetes) for test execution
Service virtualization or mocking tools
Knowledge of:
Performance and load testing for APIs
Contract testing (e.g., Pact)
