Role & responsibilities
Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Provide Level 1 support for network-related issues, including troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity problems.
Configure and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and related network devices.
Perform basic network configurations such as VLANs, IP addressing, routing, and switching.
Escalate complex issues to higher-level engineers (L2/L3) when required.
Maintain documentation of network configurations, incidents, and changes.
Assist in network upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
Respond to alerts and incidents within defined SLAs.
Ensure compliance with company policies and security standards

Preferred candidate profile




Minimum 2 years of experience in network support or administration.
Robust knowledge of Cisco networking concepts and devices.
Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.
Familiarity with routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP, RIP).
Knowledge of switching technologies including VLANs, STP, and trunking.
Basic understanding of firewall concepts and network security.
Experience with network monitoring tools. Valuable troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Solid communication and documentation skills.
