Role & responsibilities
Review Tekla models, shop drawings, assembly drawings, single-part drawings, and erection drawings before submission.
Verify member sizes, dimensions, weld symbols, bolt information, material specifications, and connection details.
Ensure drawings comply with AISC standards, client specifications, and fabrication requirements.
Review RFIs, revision drawings, and client comments, and coordinate with Detailers and Modelers.
Check BOMs, NC/CNC files, and fabrication deliverables for accuracy.
Identify detailing errors and ensure drawings are fabrication-ready.
Guide and mentor junior Detailers to maintain quality standards.
Meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Preferred candidate profile
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Tekla Checker.
Candidates must have hands-on experience working on U.S. structural steel projects.
Solid knowledge of Tekla Structures.
Excellent understanding of AISC standards.
Experience checking structural and miscellaneous steel projects.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Immediate joiners or candidates with up to 2 months' notice preferred.
