Job Title: C# Backend and Database Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a C# Backend and Database Developer to design, develop, maintain, and modernize backend services and database solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET, REST APIs, and Azure SQL Server, with experience building scalable, high-performance applications and supporting enterprise-grade systems.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications and shared libraries using C# and .NET technologies.
Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable REST APIs and service-layer components.
Develop and optimize Azure SQL Server databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues through code analysis, logging, and database investigation.
Refactor and modernize legacy applications while ensuring compatibility and system stability.
Build reusable components and implement best practices for code quality and maintainability.
Deploy and manage applications on Azure App Service.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions.
Participate in code reviews, release management, and continuous improvement initiatives.




Contribute to platform modernization and technology upgrades.

Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in C# and .NET backend development.
Solid hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and modern .NET frameworks.
Experience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs.
Robust expertise in Azure SQL Server, T-SQL, database design, and query optimization.
Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of backend applications.
Hands-on experience with Azure App Service deployments.
Proficiency with Git, version control, code reviews, and release management.
Solid understanding of backend architecture, API integrations, and database-driven applications.
Ability to work independently on complex technical issues and modernization projects.

Preferred Skills
Experience with OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and IdentityServer.
Experience working with enterprise or mission-critical applications.
Exposure to application modernization and migration to newer .NET versions.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Azure ecosystem is an added advantage.
