ManagerRole Summary

Manages multiple tax engagements across federal, state, and international jurisdictions. Ensures technical accuracy, compliance, and alignment with ASC 740 (Income Taxes).

Key Responsibilities

Plan, review, and finalize complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.





Oversee preparation of consolidated and multistate returns ensuring proper allocation and apportionment.

Review ASC 740 tax provisions, deferred tax assets/liabilities, and FIN 48 documentation.

Provide technical guidance on federal and state audit inquiries and client communications.

Supervise and mentor teams across multiple engagements.

Coordinate with auditors and advisory teams to align financial reporting and tax compliance.

Core Skills & Competencies

Advanced technical expertise in ASC 740.

Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and international tax law.

Ability to manage teams and coordinate complex tax engagements.

Effective communication with clients and internal leadership.

Solid analytical and project management skills.

Education & Credentials

CPA license or EA (Enrolled Agent) certification preferred.

6–8 years of tax compliance and review experience, including ASC 740 exposure.

Delegation / Decision Authority

Authorized to approve finalized returns and tax provisions within established parameters.

Manages client relationships and ensures engagement profitability.
