Job Title: Application Packaging Engineer
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Application Packaging Engineer to design, package, test, and deploy software applications for enterprise settings. The ideal candidate will have experience with packaging tools, software deployment technologies, and robust troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities:Package applications using tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM (MECM), AdminStudio, InstallShield, or Wise Package StudioCreate and maintain MSI, MSIX, and EXE installersPerform application virtualization (e.g., App-V, VMware ThinApp)Conduct application testing, troubleshooting, and debuggingEnsure compatibility with different versions of Windows OS environmentsManage software deployment, upgrades,



and patchingWork with IT teams to ensure smooth deployment via Active Directory and Group PolicyMaintain proper documentation for packaged applicationsFollow enterprise security and compliance standardsProvide support for packaging-related issues and incidentsRequired Skills & Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field7–9 years of experience in application packagingStrong knowledge of Windows Installer (MSI/MSIX)Basic to advanced PowerShell / scripting knowledgeExperience with software deployment tools (SCCM/MECM, Intune)Understanding of registry, file system, and OS internalsFamiliarity with ITIL processesGood problem-solving and analytical skillsPreferred Skills:Experience with Microsoft IntuneKnowledge of CI/CD pipelinesMicrosoft certifications (Endpoint Manager or related)Key Competencies:Attention to detailStrong documentation skillsTeam collaborationGood communication skills
