Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Regional Sales Manager Affordable Mortgage is responsible for driving business growth in Affordable Home Loans (HL) and Loan Against Property (LAP) products across the assigned region. The role focuses on customer acquisition, portfolio quality, channel development, team management, and achieving regional sales targets while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales
Drive acquisition of Affordable Home Loan and LAP customers in the assigned region.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual disbursement targets.
Expand market share through direct sourcing, connectors, DSAs, builders, and channel partners.
Identify recent business opportunities and penetrate untapped markets.

Portfolio & Risk Management
Maintain healthy portfolio quality and minimize delinquency.
Ensure adherence to credit and compliance guidelines.
Monitor early warning signals and coordinate with collections teams for portfolio health.

Team Management
Lead and manage Area Sales Managers, Branch Sales Managers, and field sales teams.
Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve business goals.
Drive productivity and performance management across the region.





Channel & Relationship Management
Build robust relationships with developers, brokers, DSAs, and strategic business partners.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Credit, Operations, Product, and Risk teams.
Strengthen customer engagement and ensure superior service delivery.

Strategic Planning
Develop regional sales strategies and execution plans.
Analyze competition, market trends, and customer behavior.
Drive digital adoption and process improvements across the sales ecosystem.

Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline; MBA preferred.
8–15 years of experience in Affordable Housing Finance, Mortgage Sales, LAP, or Retail Assets.
Solid understanding of affordable housing markets and distribution networks.
Proven track record in sales leadership and team handling.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
