Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced PTC Windchill Technical Consultant with solid expertise in Windchill customization and Java development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working on multiple Windchill modules and implementing integrations between Windchill and ERP systems. The role involves designing and developing scalable integration solutions, customizing Windchill components, and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to deliver enterprise PLM solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement end-to-end integration architecture between Windchill and ERP systems.
Lead Windchill-ERP integration initiatives including EBOM to MBOM, Part, Document, and Change synchronization.
Develop and implement RESTful APIs and OData services for data exchange.
Configure and customize Windchill ESI (Enterprise Systems Integration).
Work with middleware platforms such as TYK, MuleSoft, and Boomi.
Customize Windchill using Java.
Develop and enhance Data Utilities, Workflows, and Form Processes.
Utilize Windchill APIs for application customization and integrations.




Participate in interface workshops with business and client teams.
Ensure data consistency, governance, and lifecycle alignment across systems.
Implement monitoring, error handling, and retry mechanisms for integrations.
Provide technical guidance and best practices to development and client teams.

Required Skills
Minimum 5+ years of experience in PTC Windchill.
Solid experience in Windchill customization.
Hands-on Java development experience (mandatory).
Experience working with at least 23 Windchill modules:

MPMLink
PartsLink
RQMS
Hands-on experience with:
Data Utilities
Workflows
Form Process
Windchill APIs
Experience with Windchill ESI and Info*Engine.
Experience in REST APIs and OData services.
Knowledge of middleware/API gateways such as TYK, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
Experience with ERP integrations (SAP, INFOR, or similar).
Knowledge of JSON, XML, OAuth, and JWT.
Experience handling large BOM structures and change management processes.
