Role & responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production machinery.
Diagnose and repair mechanical failures in cold forging, heading, thread rolling, heat treatment, wire drawing, and related equipment.
Conduct routine inspections of machines and utilities.
Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, gearbox, bearing, lubrication, and conveyor systems.
Replace and align machine components such as shafts, couplings, belts, pulleys, bearings, and gears.
Prepare and maintain maintenance records, checklists, and equipment history.
Coordinate with production to schedule maintenance activities with minimum downtime.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company maintenance standards.
Monitor spare parts inventory and recommend procurement of critical spares.
Support installation, commissioning, and improvement of recent machinery.
Implement TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
