Key Responsibilities & Skills
Lead On-Premises to Azure migrations using Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery (ASR), and migration assessment tools.
Administer and support Azure IaaS & PaaS services including Virtual Machines, App Services, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure SQL Database, Load Balancer, Availability Sets, Availability Zones, and Azure Bastion.
Design and implement Azure Landing Zones following Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and governance best practices.
Robust expertise in Azure Networking, including Virtual Networks (VNet), VNet Peering, NSG, UDR, Azure DNS, Private Endpoints, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway (WAF), Azure Front Door, Load Balancer, Site-to-Site VPN, Point-to-Site VPN, and ExpressRoute.




Configure and manage Azure Backup, Recovery Services Vault, Azure Site Recovery (ASR), Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity (BCP), RTO, and RPO.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Policy, Key Vault, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and hybrid identity with Active Directory.
Implement monitoring and optimization using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Azure Advisor, and Azure Cost Management.
Hands-on experience in Azure Cost Optimization (FinOps), including Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Azure Hybrid Advantage, rightsizing, and resource optimization.
Experience with automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM Templates, and Bicep (Terraform is an added advantage).
Robust troubleshooting, customer communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
