Role: Senior QA Engineer (Functional Testing)

Experience: 8+ years

Location: Guindy, Chennai

Roles and Responsibilities:
8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on Manual Testing experience in Web Application Testing, with a robust understanding of STLC and QA methodologies.
Expertise in requirement analysis, test scenario/test case design, and execution of Functional, Regression, UI, Usability, Cross-browser, and Retesting activities.
Hands-on experience in REST API Testing (Postman/JMeter), SQL for data validation, and defect management using JIRA/Azure DevOps in an Agile/Scrum workplace.
Responsible for end-to-end manual testing, including creating test plans, test cases, executing test cycles, managing test data, and ensuring product quality across releases.
Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Stakeholders to identify, log, track, and resolve defects, while supporting production issue analysis and sprint deliveries.
Exposure to AI-powered testing tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) for test case generation and requirement analysis; valuable-to-have knowledge of Mobile Testing, JMeter Performance Testing, Basic Automation, Xray, and CI/CD.
