Overview
The Credit Balance Specialist is primarily responsible for printing queued patient and insurance refunds including creating check registers and obtaining approval for releasing printed checks.
Responsibilities
Print refunds checks from each applicable system within each client’s monthly deadline.
Produce check registers for client approval.
Track all aspects of refund checks and mail once approved.
Print and mail overpayment letters to payors with applicable EOB.
Track and maintain check stock inventory.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Three (3) years of credit balances & refunds and/or billing system experience.
