Role & responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and modify mechanical engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
Perform equipment sizing, mechanical design calculations, and design verification for process equipment.
Develop and review General Arrangement (GA) Drawings, P&IDs;, Fabrication Drawings, and Vendor Documents.
Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering codes, standards, and client specifications.
Carry out mechanical calculations related to pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, piping systems, and package equipment.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Process, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Project Management throughout the project lifecycle.
Review vendor drawings and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
