We are looking for: Team Lead Solution Engineer - Lead Engineering DC APAC

You'll make an impact by:
Creating basic designs and supervising detailed designs in the field of low and medium voltage distributors, E-houses and busduct systems;
Understanding technical requirements from specifications and converting them into appropriate basic designs;
Reviewing technical basic and detail designs;
Ensuring that installations are designed and delivered in accordance with the specified requirements;
Planning project work and preparing progress reports;
Managing and supervising fellow engineers for detail engineering;
Proactively liaising with the client and the sales and quotation team;
Maintaining financial status and preparing additional work quotations;




Organising and attending factory tests (FAT) with the customer;
Managing any sub-suppliers and Siemens factories;
Initiating and developing improvement proposals.

Bachelor or Master level degree in electrical engineering.
8+ years' work experience as a (lead) engineer.
Knowledge of low-voltage electrical distribution boards, distribution boards, transformers and electrical protective devices;
You are creative and able to communicate ideas and inspire/motivate people;
Accurate, critical and have a broad technical knowledge and interest;
Versatile working attitude, practical and result-oriented;
Stress-resistant and able to act within a pressured setting;
Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken;
Living in the Chennai region.
